I can’t believe I’m the first to review. These were provided after management moved to internal vests in order to alleviate some of the stress caused by the duty belt. The system is awkward to use–adding another thing to wear– and keep in place. I’ve taped mine to the internal vest, but it still takes extra time to dress. I taped the pieces which go into my pants to try to give some outward curve to prevent the tabs from digging into my legs and stop bruising/chaffing. This made them more comfortable to wear. I did find relief of my lower back/hip pain, but found the stress simply migrated north to my upper back and shoulders while wearing the system. I still find my lower back/hips sore after work and realized the system is ineffectual once I sit, which I do for 95% of my shift. The weight simply returns to my lower back and hips. I would not recommend this system if a Load-bearing vest is available.
